Space Day!

Wow! What an awesome day we've had! Students spent the day rotating through 4 different space centers. They had a chance to learn more about the planets where they made a planets headband to represent the planets in our Solar System. They learned about the Milky Way galaxy and how it was formed and then created their own Milky Way galaxy. They listened to the story "Aliens Love Underpants" and created their own Alien with underpants. Our last station was in our own room where we learned more about the moon. Students created craters using flour and marbles and then they made their own moon rocks! I was so impressed with the students as we rotated from classroom to classroom. Their behavior was excellent!
