Pumpkin Adjectives and Measurement
Students created their own pumpkin and then used adjectives to describe it. They got to feel, touch, and taste a pumpkin.  Students also practiced measuring in inches. They measured the height, width, circumference, and weight of a variety of pumpkins. Thank you parents for donating the pumpkins.

Halloween Measurement
Students practiced estimating and measuring several spooky items with their inch ruler. They then "stretched" their items and measure them again.

This week we spent some time taking the Scholastic Reading Inventory and the Scholastic Math Inventory on the laptops. These are two of the assessments your child will be required to take two times a year. These assessments are a way to assess your students reading level and math level. The students did an awesome job with these assessments. I will share the results with you at conference.
